How do I know you are a reputable company?
Geoff can show you certificates for training, police-check (DBS) and public liability insurance. Geoff has received full training from a City & Guilds accredited training provider. All documents can be verified by the providers. You can see some reviews from GRN's customers on Facebook. All work is fully guaranteed.
How long will I have to wait in an emergency?
GRN cover a 25 mile radius from Bognor Regis. You’ll get straight through to Geoff when you call 07889325487 and he will let you know how quickly he can get to you. There’s no wait for a call-handler to locate someone to do the job.
How quickly can you get me back in my house?
Geoff can pick most door locks in under 15 minutes without causing any damage. In rare cases it isn't possible to pick the lock and other methods need to be used. Geoff will talk to you about your options if this is the case.
Will my lock need to be changed?
In most cases Geoff will be able to hand pick your lock, causing no damage and ensuring that all your current keys still work. On the occasions when this isn’t possible it may be necessary to replace the lock. GRN stocks a wide variety of locks and will be able to replace your lock and leave your home or commercial property secure. If for any reason you are not happy to go ahead with Geoff’s suggestions you are under no obligation to go ahead with the proposed work and there will be no call-out fee to pay.
How much will it cost?
GRN’s standard re-entry charge is £65 weekdays 8am-6pm; £95 for call-outs in the evening (6pm-10pm) and weekends (8am–10pm); and £120 night-time (10pm-8am) and bank holidays. The fee is a fixed-charge to get you back in your house. In the unlikely event that Geoff can’t get you back in, you won’t be charged. If Geoff needs to damage your locks to get you in and you want to get other quotes before going ahead, you won’t be charged. Why should I change my locks if I’m not locked out?
* If you move into a new house the only way to be 100% sure of who has keys to your home is to change the locks.
* Unfortunately there can be personal situations where someone you previously trusted with a key should no longer have access to your home.
* Your current locks may not be up to modern standards, many insurance companies require British Standard locks. Click here for more detailed information about different types of door lock:
Why else would I need a locksmith?
Locks on doors and windows can last decades with no problems at all but when they go wrong it can often mean that you are unable to secure your property. Contact GRN if you have any locks that are starting to stick or not quite working properly. Geoff can often just service the lock for a lower cost than replacing it. This will save you money and prevent a more urgent situation where you can’t leave the house because your locks are not secure.
Why call a locksmith for window repairs?
The skills that locksmiths develop to pick locks, service, repair and replace locks are perfect to service and replace UPVC windows. The fixtures and fittings for windows are often stocked by our lock and door furniture suppliers. In many cases talking to a locksmith about window repairs can prevent you having to replace the whole window unit.
